*Note: not alll same-sex marriage couples are gay. Lots are bisexual or lesbian.

Whenever I see anything on the news about this topic, I have learned to just mute the dialog and look at the people, else i get real flustered.

I know it's hard for me to be objective, but when you just focus on the joy, the pleased expressions, it's truly wonderful what is happening.

Your use here of the word "gay" in the last sentence of your posting is a good example of the development of the word, from being a general description, ie: a euphemism for homosexuality in general, to the more specific definition of male homosexuality.

It used to be that lesbians were gay too, once.
