I've not been so homosexual in years. It seems.

Thursday: In Sydney most bars are closed on Good Friday (Christmas is the only other complusory day), so the Harbour City Bears had their bar night Thursday instead of (duh, Good) Friday. After my class I buzzed up to Oxford Street to meet our pal Mark. We had a couple of drinks, but since Thursday is Kung Fu night for his most eminently shaggable (duh, [livejournal.com profile] querrelle), he stayed home. Hawt monkey luvvin', then sleep.
Friday: we did something we dont' do enough--we stayed in bed canoodlin'an'snugglin' an' messin' 'round, 'til at least 11h00. We had a lovely day together, and decided to try a joint night at the tubs together. It went OK for a couple of things. We picked Kingsteam, hoping the closed bars and convenient location would send some hawties (nope, mostly scaries) there. We also didn't leave together: Max left me to 'launch the rocket/murder the possum/whathaveyou', with us both fully expecting me to be home within the hour. The Fates (and the uglies and my testosteronely driven meglomania) kept me there nearly another 2 hours, briging me home just before 01h30 (I stopped to get the Saturday morning newspaper at the local QuickieMart). We hadn't fully negotiated how things should go, so it lost its fun-ness.

Saturday: we sorted through Friday nigh--rather quickly, and deeply. Another layer, all good stuff. Parts of said newspaper were read. We puttered (me shop and cook; he Bears accounting), and--oh, right, I made a little something for when I'm a putterin':

In the evening we saw Les invasions barbares ("The Barbarian Invasions")--and he loved it too! Yay! I'm a phreak, when something profoundly moves me I wanna share with those I love. (profoundly)! A burger dinner, then home for more monkey luvvin'. Just for the record, he did not "sing me to sleep, after the luvvin'.

Sunday: Jesus may have risen before the sun, but we laid in a bit. Max made a lovely pancake brekkie, then more time around the house puttering, I made a call to the UK ([livejournal.com profile] toneyvr is visiting his sisters in lovely Melton Mowbray, home of pork pies, Stilton cheese and Mars Bars), and we loaded carbs at dinner, via spaghettini and Bolognese Maximus. Watched Idol. Then it was to meet Mark at The Shift, followed by Indulgence, a leather dance party upstairs at the Shift. Several hundred men in leather, some of whom seemed to need to pose regardless--but most were happy and friendly. Must've been the music. Sure, sure it was. We had a lot of fun, stayed almost until Dawn (it went until 10h00), and came home happy and excited.

Monday: We recovered, relaxed, snoozed, played around, and generally enjoyed one another's company. In bed by 21h00--but then again, weren't ever really quite "up" from the night before.

We did some fab things this weekend, but they themselves weren't the reason for the fabulousness. It's us. If things keep going the way they have, I might just have to marry this guy . . .

I've been going to the gym too long -- I was more interested in the biceps than the apron.

Need you even ask? Of course! By the way, the shoes were the number one complaint at the party (of course finding a size 12 pump is difficult anyway). I'm sure their was much tylenol abuse afterwards!

*Shielding eyes from the neon-ness of the apron* I'm still more shocked that Australia closes its bars EVER.
