Lazy, hazy day

jawnbcLate night last night. Fun, but not in the least bit pornographic.
Buddy S. and I met for a drink at bears night. We agreed we were kinda bored, but not into doing a late night club thang. So we got to discussion music--I’ve turned him onto downloading and “file sharing” recently--and he mentioned enjoying the soundtrack to “O Brother Where Art Thou?” Which is one of the DVD’s I brought with me from Hongcouver. So we adjourned to chez moi...
..except “Brother” is not one of the dozen DVD’s I brought with me. D’oh!
I’ve seen all but one of the films (the 3rd Austin Powers, which I’m saving for a long flight with bad filums), so I let S. select. He chose “Life is Beautiful,” the Roberto Benigni film of a few years back. S. hadn’t seen, it’s one of my favourite films ever. Compelling. Human. Inspiring. Poignant. Tough to watch, particularly at 01h00. He liked, I liked it.
So slept in a bit today. But one of the first things I did when I got up (as my PowerBook ran out of battery power) was to put on my new Birkenstocks. Yes, I’ve joined the granola team in a big way. Plus they were on sale.
So for those with nothing better to do (and perhaps a foot fetish), here’s some hot solo action:
