Bags are packed--stuffed really, thanks to the expertise of one [livejournal.com profile] toneyvr--and the iBook goes in next. Then a cuppa before departing for the airport. Where there will be much crying. As it should be at farewells with those you love .

It’s been a grand visit.

On the more positive side, I’ll be back in his nibs’ arms (aka [livejournal.com profile] querrelle very, very soon. And once I wave bye-bye to Tony, I’ll pop into “traveller” mode and be fine really. But I’ll miss him terribly, I always do.

But this time he’s really finding his own path in life. Starting grad skool is so the right thing for him. He’s learning and growing a lot. I’m so pleased for him!

Straddling the Pacific (metaphorically; be nice) is the new normal for me, and I don’t feel torn by it. I am Canadian, I love my family there. I love Max, and our life together in Australia. Really I’m a lucky, lucky boy.

Whose about to be dragged across the Pacific by his nose, courtesy of a former Crown corporation run by a Merkun fucktard. At least we coulda got an effective offshore manager/CEO. How do you not make a profit with a 90% monopoly domestically?
