So I took this test and I scored 42--high enough to possible have Asperger's or autism.

Hrm . . .

I took the test you'd posted and got 16.0.

Boringly average, again.

Hmm. I got a 19.

What do you think about your results? Do you think you might have Asperger's or autism?

I scored a 10 because I love people.

Hmmm.....perhaps try it again when you're not jet-lagged.

For the record, I scored 25 = perceptive but generally unsociable.

Lots of people have have been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. It wouldn't surprise me a bit.

32... why am I not surprised? I took the test really fast and I may take it again later because I was iffy on some questions but I get a feeling that taking it again will rise my score.

I've long suspected that the kids got this from me.

Asperger's was the neurosis-du-jour a couple years ago... all my friends had it and have since moved on to other more currently fashionable head-trips.

Hm. 28. This correlates well with my experience of a lot of things--I'm rarely at the mean, rarely in the zone where a clinical diagnosis is a lock, but *often* in the liminal space between.

I got 24...

11. Why am I not Julie, the cruise director?

I think a lot of this hinges on your threshold of "easy" and "difficult". Is difficult closer to "takes a tiny bit of effort" or "damn near impossible"? Is "easy" closer to "I can't help myself doing this" or "it takes effort but is not impossible"?

I thought I was score higher than 19 but, I think Bill is on the right track by pointing to person perceptions or degree of the meaning of the answers. Did that make sense? :-)

33. Oh well. I bet most of the computer geeks I know would score similarly.

I got an 8, proving that I have no excuse!

You seem way too social to have any kind of autism. But I only know you online of course.
I've been camping with kids who suffer autism and they don't really communicate. There is no interaction... How about you?

Well, my score: 18.
