Thus I expect delivery of a lovely new Powebook this week, after a couple of months stumbling around with this Toshiba laptop. I shan't ever contemplate the switch again--and a plague o' both the houses of the eejit who fibbed that "our tech support people don't like Macs." Make that liars. I'm lying, I'm late, I'm losing my weight.
Props to the Greek side in winning Euro 2004. Consistently strong performance, even if defensive soccer is boring to watch. It's about winning and they did. For real.
Started a journal article on queer youth, homophobia and schools; hope to have it out by end of August. Followed by an analysis of social capital theory as relates to public policy and "community strengthening". Or, as I life to say, "how positivist wankers have appropriated a rich and nuanced discourse to blame poor people for being poor."
New digs are faboo. Fiancee even more so. I"m the queen of the world of make believe.
