Sep. 14th, 2004 10:20 pmThis time last night I was hurling my guts out for the 4th or 5th time. Tonight, I’m almost hungry. Puh-raise Him!
I have less than a month left as a singleton. Someone asked me today “are you getting nervous about the wedding?” Why would I be getting nervous? It’s not like I’m knocked up and have to worry about the photos. And if its twoo that marriage ruins the sex, I’ll divorce ‘im toute de suite.
On Sunday evening we’re going to “The Best Disco in Town” on tour. Gloria Gaynor, KC and the Sunshine Band, the Village People and....Boney M. Having grown up deficient Boney M-y goodness (they never really broke in the US; Rivers of Babylon squeeked into the top 40), I swore years ago I would go see them if they ever played again. Apparently each act does 20-30 minutes, so should be hits galore.
Tonight I watched the Designer guys, just because they’re Canucks. I’ve only seen the show maybe 6 times, and it’s always the same two episodes: convert cottage into loft (cement S & P shakers) and redo her back yard into a patio. Steven Sabados strikes me as genuinely talented; Chris Hyndman, well......whatever.
