Our Easter in New Zealand
Apr. 3rd, 2005 09:52 pmWe took advantage of the gazillion frequent flyer miles I’ve accrued and popped over to Auckland a couple of week ago. Shortly after
querrelle migrated to Australia his sister Julia (with her husband and daughter) migrated to New Zealand. It was a chance for me to become acquainted with them (they now have 2 kids, 2 lovely girls Sophie and Lucy), and to show off a bit of the North Island to Max. We hired a campervan, which we’d totally recommend, and spent time exploring the thermal area of Rotorua, the gorgeous coasts and beaches of the Bay of Plenty and the Coromandel, and enjoying the beauty of the place.
New Zealand is stunning. New Zealanders are fiercely friendly (save some yahoo teens in Mount Maunganui who harassed us a bit). It was fabulous.
