'nother year, 'nother resurrection
Apr. 21st, 2003 12:31 pmIt's a puttery sort of day. Will eventually make it upstairs to do some laundry. Yes, I shall run a bath, put the laundry in, soak, then put said laundry to dry. This is what I shall do. A plan...
Finalized plans for Tony and Jocelyne to come for a visit in mid-July--woo hoo! They want to visit the Red Centre (the Rock etc), so am starting researching that--bloody fookin' expensive it is. I'll crunch some number and let them decide. I've been there and done that so it's all about what they wanna do.
Raided the the cheapo CD store yesterday. Among several acquisitions are the t.a.t.u. album (Russia's #1 and 2 lesbians. yeah, right) and the new Céline disc. Which I like quite a lot more than the A New Day "oooh I had a baby with my fat cradle-robbing manager/daddy/husband through in vitro and I wanna go on and on and on about it" schlock fest. Don't get me wrong I am a big fan--as is
ruralrob. But I am a realist and even I grew weary of Céline's overexposure.
Also found out the name/artist of a song I've been hearing since arriving in Oz--finding out had become an obsession. It's "Forever" by N-trance. Now I can sing along "so hoooooold meeeeeee forrrrrrevahhhhhhhh" at home. Nekkid even.
Also, the unthinkable finally happened last night at The Shift: They played a video/song that neither I nor DavieB had ever heard of. Nonetheless I am horse from singing.
Whatever
