a brief note from Queens

The visit is going well. I got up early, had tea with Nanny, then hung out with Ma, did shopping with Da, then decorated the tree under Ma’s supervision, and brought most of the holiday shite down from the attic. Dinner was take out (shrimp scampi, yum). Tonite I’ll hang a bit, read a bit, perhaps compute a bit.
I’m sad, but I’m not letting it impede things.
