à tantôt Hongcouver

So it’s departure day. In a couple of hours I’ll board the Hongcouver-Hong Kong flight. Two bleary-eyed plane sleeps later and querrelle and I will be reunited. Without that hideous stopwatch running in the back of our minds.

A couple of days ago, the prospects of leaving Canada, saying good-bye to Mum and Nanny, and shacking up with his royal hawtness were more than a little bit daunting. Yesterday was about quality time with toneyvr and the girls. And packing. Today’s about getting on with it and getting there.

All that remains is to ablute, hang with the gang, zip up the bags (please close) and head off to the airport.
