1. Rock, paper, scissors. Which one is the odd one out and why?
Paper...cause it can’t be used as a weapon. Or not. Maybe rock, cause it’s got one vowel and the others have two?
2. What’s your most embarassing moment?
That’s a tough one, since I don’t get embarassed easily . . . but ok. When I was 8 or 9, I failed a hearing test at school. And a follow-up. So I was sent to a specialist for more testing. I remember feeling awkward, but also relieved in some sense. Turns out I had no hearing loss. Weeks later, at one of the extended family gatherings my uncle/godfather and aunt ran up to me and hugged me and expressed all sorts of concern towards me. Which totally embarassed me. Eventually it occurred to me that parents hadn’t once, through all the tests--in fact they didn’t much at all, ever. Compassion and concern were virtually foreign to me and therefore embarassing.
3. What’s the most memorable trick you’ve played on someone?
Not really my thing. Sorry . .
4. Pick your favourite super power, what would you use as your superhero name?
The ability to tell lies from the truth (to see the lies and know the truth). I’d be “Don’t fook wimme Dood”
5. While on the topic of superheros... describe the nemesis of your favourite colour?
Orange. It’s fine on fruit, but that’s about it
