First skating lesson didn't start well: the instructor didn't show so someone had to leap in at the last minute with no prep. Even so, she should've asked our ability level(s) before asking us to do a complex figure 8 patttern around the ice in reverse crossovers. Since perhaps 3 people could even do any backwards crossovers. I am not one of those 3.
Mostly I got to work on my hockey stop. Coming along nicely. Some of the folks from last year is back, which is almost entirely lovely. And the lesbians are in the same class (after mine) with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
querrelle. We had a Safeway™ chuck for dinner afterwards.
Soon I will crawl into bed, snuggle that man and pass out. Tomorrow it's back at it, with tuna salad sammiches for lunch.
