Feb. 21st, 2008 07:47 amSpring is clearly here, praise the baby Jaysus. The sunshine, combined with actually going to work and coming home from work in daylight, always gives Vancouver a bit of a spark. Word is the bloom be happening in Victoria as of last week, so we're due here this week or next. That means several weeks of apple and cherry blossoms, followed by the rhododendrens. I don't really have the gay flower gene, but the blossoms and rhodos never fail to move me.
Work is much calmer than it's been since I started in November...so calm that everyone's scratching their heads and saying things like "I must have something to do...I think?"
Normally tonight would be boarding night, but my back is out. So I shall waddle around the office, then waddle home.
And right now? Am listening to the sneak preview of Ireland's Eurovision short list on RTÉ. Which includes Dustin the Turkey, singing "Irlande douze points". Think an Oirish twig on Verka Serduchka.
