When I first got online I was BCBear on IRC (efnet baaby). The cub thing never fit (me, docile?), but neither did bear (people expecting something more than 1,67m I guess). So then I was Jawn, since that's how my mutha pronounces my name. Then some str8 tool on efnet pinched jawn (and never seemed to log off, damned broadband). I live in BC, ergo JawnBC. No point in changing the brand now (sorry Naomi).
2. My name is _____ because ______.
John. Like many children of migrants, Da wanted to be American™ and not Irish. But we're also Catholic. So there only seem to be about 8 male and female names available, particular when combined with our surname. "We didn't want you to feel different or weird" was what Ma said when I asked why they didn't name me Seán instead. Not that I wasn't already a little princess...and there weren't 3 other Johns in my year of primary/secondary school....
3. My journal is titled ____ because ____.
neart na mban; saoirse rogha. Educate the women, freedom follows in Irish.
4. My friends page is called ____ because ____.
"Les tâches originelles", the original sins. Because you're all durty. And my favourite song of all time is "Minuit Chrétiens" or "O Holy Night"
Pour effacer la tâche originelle....to erase the Original Sin (of Adam and Eve). I keep scrubbing and scrubbing and it won't wash out.
