No dark sarcasm in the classroom

jawnbcI went to the gym yesterday and had a good workout. Today my manboobies ache. And my feets. But it's a good ache. Even so, I'd much rather periodically go under the knife, have the goop sucked out and the lose bits tigthened up a notch, than have to get off the couch.
Dropped of the grant application today; will hear in Feb/March. I've done my bit; let's hope all the other applicants didn't do theirs. [hey, I'm not the one who made it a competition].
And my Oirish/EU passport renewal application is off to Ottawa. Then it will go off to Dublin. Then it will go back to Ottawa. Then it will come back to Vancouver. I expect to see it sometime before Daylight Savings Time starts again. Armoured cars and tanks and guns came to take away our sons, but no man makes Oirish bureaucracy moves faster than my Uncle Buster would crawl home from the bar. And he was often 2 or 3 days late for his supper, go mbeannai dia anseoch. But the new passport will be machine readable and electronic; the one about to expire looks like it was made with crayon and cling wrap. That's not an exageration. Oh. And we caught the Ali G show on the IFC channel yesterday. He's just too feicin' funny. That Kazakh dude....I pretty much plotzed!
