So you remember those one hit wonders O-Zone, who rocked the world with Dragostea din tei? I already mentioned this week that one of them--Arsenium--will represent Moldova at the Eurovision in a couple of months.

But it turns out that he's in a dom/sub relationship with one of the other guys in the band. Bottom buddy's profile tells us that Dan is Da!

A guy who is on my friends list made this flash video for that song. It is a bit silly but entertaining.

The original soung is outrageously catchy, doubly so considering that I don't understand one word. There have been dozens of covers, imitators and parodies, many of which are listed in a Wikipedia entry. My personal favorite is an Israeli variation, apparently an advert for a song contest of some sort... I know just enough Hebrew to realize that some of it's very clever. The chorus at the end translates as "Nouma, nouma, yay, I don't understand a word of it, OK?"
