Malade, je suis malade...goddamnsonofabitchbastard flu of some sort. Drip, sore throat, cough, sinuses, fever, aches. Himself has it too, but he's a couple of days ahead of me. And he's English, and therefore stoic. querrelle would probably pick his up, tuck it under his arm, jump on his bike, and ride to work. There would perhaps be tears in the corners of his eyes...no there wouldn't: he'd have the helmet on the friggin' thing.
All is not woe, however. I got an online class to teach for May-June. It's an undergrad adult ed class on teaching methods. I love teaching online and it's been a couple of years since I've done anything in adult ed, so I'm very pleased. I have 2 weeks to prep and load the whole thang, but that should be fine. I wonder how many I have in it? Ah, 20. Totally manageable. And ooh, it runs May-July...even better. The extant course outline is attuned to my approach and I have the main text already. She'll be right mate!
The only work I could possibly do today is write. But when I'm stuffed up to write/edit is to create mayhem. Instead I am on the Internet, on Yahoo, AOL IM, MSN and ISPQ as jawnbc. Please entertain me in wholly unsexy ways. As my husband can confirm, when I be ill, I be unsexualistic.
