Just in from rollerblading around the seawall. Took about 90 minutes, including two 10 minute breaks. Approximately 10km.

Be suitably impressed.

You know how to rollerblade...and have a venue to do so where the pavement's smooth?

I am so impressed that my chest hair hurts.

we can only hope for the sake of other Vancouverites that you were shirtless with hair blowing everywhere.

Well smooth surface is not precisely completely accurate. *grin*

The back wall of the trail around Stanley park, while stunningly beautiful, is very rough. You have to skate like you're off-road and the constant shaking and rattling is much like a foot massage. It's hard, because your legs start feeling so utterly relaxed and wobbly... truly a lovely feeling. heh heh

Actually if you take a closer look at the map it's more like 10km. The 0km point is at the corner of Georgia St and the 9km point is at the corner of Beach St.

I saw a shirtless guy an hour ago near Science World. He had the cutest goatee and totally furry chest. He whizzed by me on roller blades with a bit of a smile and some nice eye contact.

I luv summer!
