Help Lebanon's recovery

querrelle and I wanted to give some $$$ to a Lebanese organization...but were a bit leery of sending money to an organization that might be a front for extremists. An acquaintance here in Vancouver whose family are in Beirut suggested The Women's Learning Partnership for Rights, Development and Peace. They do work in Lebanon (among several countries) that tries to close the gap between girls' and boys' access to education.

You can also go directly here to make a contribution. There's even a space where you can specify what you'd like the $$ to be used for (we put "Lebanon", since we didn't want to overly constrain them).
