It was a horrible day, perpetrated by horrible people. And wholly undeserved.
But it's been soiled by people who've used it for political capital, at the expense of thousands of innocent lives.
Yet it remains one of the most horrible days of my life, one which wholly obliterated any remnants of my childlike self.
And I am even more convinced that the remedies are democracy, justice, and education. Especially for girls and women.
Ignorance, and its bastard children ideologies of theocracy and hegemony, are the problem.
