brouillard
Oct. 13th, 2006 09:34 amI ran the bath and it was sunny and hazy. Now we're socked in with fog. Kewlers!
I am waiting for a call back from the Common C.V. folks. Don't bother clicking through, it's boring, unless you're a researcher and a grant 'ho. CCV allows us to enter our c.v. data into one source, but produce whatever sorts of output individual funding agencies want.
Why are they calling me back? Well my university has created an internal common c.v. that produces the fiddly, ugly, internally required version of an academic c.v.. Which ostensibly supports .xml export...because the real Common c.v. ostensibly supports .xml import. Ostensibly as in "fuck up the whole damn thing with ghost data that isn't removable or fixable." Fuckers.
Today I can pick up my renewed Canadian passport at thedrug store post office, anytime after 1pm. I'll go at noon because I'm stoopid and impatient that way.
