After a couple of weeks in the new apartment (where's the barenakedladies song for that?) it's time for an update. Bottom line: loving it. In fact, this is the fastest I've ever felt "at home" in a new place. Even on those notoriously flat grey winter days the amount of natural light has been more than adequate. Other days it's just all-around lovely. And we've moved about 150m from our old building, but it's like a world away.
Am also transitioning from rollerblading season to ice skating season, and breaking in the new recreational skates. While signficantly different, both forms of skating are complementary...I mainly feel the ice skating in the hips rather than the bum. And no, not because of falling--I am grace personified.
Aside from general contentment, and ongoing gut problems (Gravol, she my friend), dat's it
