All is right with the world

jawnbcA great dinner party last night, featuring all of the friends who helped us acquire and move into our new home. It went off without a hitch, save a lag in getting the meal out. But everyone had a great, spirited time. This place is great for entertaining!
Today has kicked off with a smashing good root, a lovely hot bath, and the first winter's snow on the North Shore mountains. It's supposed to get down to 0C in town tonight: anything that falls from the skies when it's less than 7C in the city proper means snow on them there hills. Winnie and I are signed up to join a gaggle of homosexualists on once a week ski passes for Cypress Bowl; Thursdays, in fact. I'm gonna do both boarding (new for me) and regular skiing). I figure 2 days skating and 1 skiing a week is a good enough exercise regimen for the winter. Plus the odd day doing cross country.
We're off for brekkie, some grocery shopping, and all sorts of excitement on a cool, grey Vancouver autumn day. All is right with the world.
