jawnbcIt's not until the middle of next week, but we had a wee gathering this evening for my birfday. I'll be 43 on the 28th. I cut my leg in half and counted the rings...yup, 43.
We used the event as an excuse to get a few friends together; since Saturday night is our ice skating date, we had a skating party. There were 9 of us, ranging in ability from not skating (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
studlybastard) never on ice before (pythagorarse), not bad at all (my evil twin Dr. Dyke and lusty_librarian, plus Dave and Andy), and me and querrelle. The skating was fun, the company even better. We then adjourned chez nous for hot chocolate and sugar-disguised-as-birthday-cake. A really fun evening.
