winter holidays

jawnbcAfter crunching the numbers, Oz and NZ just aren't in the cards this year: airfare alone during the holidays would be over $4500 for the 2 of us. Next year.

querrelle's introduction to Mexico. We're booked for the first 2 weeks in December, staying here (room 6, US$57/night). Flying Alaska Air, with whom I had a US$50 companion ticket coupon. Except for meals, sundries and transfers this will work out to about $1500 for the 2 of us.
