Uh...uh...uh

1. At some point during my childhood I accidently pierced the right side of my nose. I think with a paper clip. There's still an indent. This was all before bhangra crossed over, btw.
2. I have biggish (8/41) feet, but teeny tiny hands (middle finger not even 3cm long), for someone 1,67m 5'6". Just goes to show you...
3. My last year of undergrad the Today show (US) followed some girls from my alma mater to Ft Lauderdale for Spring Break. I was filmed a few times and told my family all to watch the Today show on day xx. Thank Gawd Ma thought it was Good Morning America: the only shot was of me slowly passing out and crumbling in a heap in a beer parlour. At 9h30 in the morning.
4. I type very quickly, but cannot use my right pinkie very well. So if there are Ps involved my speed and accuracy plummet

5. A week before I began uni Da said "you know, I think you're the only one who's gonna make something of themselves." I promptly crashed and burned and flunked out less that 6 months later.
6. When my spirits are great I sing beautifully; when they're not I'm tone deaf and have no sense of meter.
7. I only did my PhD because I wanted to learn--even knowing it might limit my job prospects
8. Given a choice between peace of mind and financial security I'll take the former every time.
