Recently someone replied to of my Friend's thread in a way that I thought was dissing. Several hours later I added a reply to that effect.

It wasn't well received. Of course not.

But my question is, when do we "call fellow LJers on it," when we think they've been disrespectful? Why or why not, and how or how not?

Note to the 2 persons involved here besides me (Friend and responder): of course I'd welcome your feedback on this issue in a general sense, but I'm not looking to create drama. This isn't an exercise in passive aggressiveness on my part. Really.
