Darmn you Sarah Palin, for disappointing us so. Pedestrian and not tragic, wassup wit dat?
Canadian leaders' debate was also last night. More substantive, entertaining, and....too long. 4 leaders tried to clusterfook Stephen Harper, and did a pretty good job of it. Harper didn't lose it, but didn't gain anything either. Green leader Elizabeth May was to my mind the star though: clever, funny, honest, and she did a great job of flattening Stevo's testicles. Dion did well, albeit he stumbled at times in English: should get a bounce from his performance. Layton was too socialist and I think he squandered a chance for a breakthrough. Not a bad job by My Main Moustache man, but why settle for very good when you could have had awesome? Gilles Duceppe disappointed: when he piped in he was good, but mostly he didn't.
Harper will get another minority; Liberals might be back up a bit. NDP will end up about where they are now. Ditto the Bloc. And as soon as we get STV I expect we will see a number of Greens winning seats.
In other news, Ma is home from the hospital and full of piss and vinegar. And my fat fook brother Tommy turns 46 today. Parts are falling off him as we speak....
