querrelle took me away to Skinny Dips, a gay spa/B & B in Avoca (90 minutes northish from Sydney. Pure relaxation. We only bawled once, on Sunday, exactly 2 weeks before I leave for Hongcouver. We got back Sunday arvo, and I started packing. Had dinner with Scott and Baz, then Shifted with querrelle. then came home and packed for 2 more hours.
Today I had meetings all morning, then stopped at the Apple Care folks to visit "my baby." They couldn't find any problems, so I booted it up and said, "here it is!"
"Oh."
Oh? They're gonna test it another day or so. I'm unimpressed.
Then home, for packing.querrelle came over with a friend's truckish thing. 2 loads, plus a 3rd for the sofa bed. Oh and the women at the Benevolent Society are taking the bed and kitchen stuff tomorrow. It'll go to a woman trying to rebuild her life after domestic violence. I've had to rebuild my life, the kindness of others saved my bacon. I'm not rich, but some woman's bacon needs these things more than I need the cash.
We just ate take-away Indian and am about to start unpacking Tabarnak!
