Thinking about roybear and day zéro at the Sperm Firm today. A new doorway buddy...

And thinking about myself and my own circumstance. Involving querrelle, but really I'm all about personal agency. He figures prominently in the picture, but there decisions to be made on my side. I'm only here for a few more days, then it's that hideous flight across the pond again. A few hours sleep. Then back to work. Back, in other words, to my life in Vancouver.

But I've decided. My life is really here. With Max. We'd planned on my return in late December as being longish term, but it's sinking in now.Home is here. With Max.Feels right.

Oh, and he's waiting for me upstairs (he cooked the fab meal, so I did the washing up), so night-night.

Oh god I hate that feeling, those last few moments before you separate. I understand when you say, My life is really here. It's so damn hard sometimes, so bittersweet. Being with one you love and then having to leave...
