la lune se leve
Mar. 17th, 2003 08:33 pmI seem to have sorted out the aperture function on my digital camera. Here’s tonight’s view from my window:

Wow, eh?
As request by
ruralrob, more details on the view. Finding a flat in Sydney seemed to mean either: pay less and get a dump, pay less and live on the rail lines outside the inner city, or pay more--with the value of more also varying. After nearly a week of eye rolling and nose pinching, I stumbled into this place. I’m in a one bedroom, and the view is out my living room (same view from the bedroom too). 41st floor, overlooking Hyde Park (the green patch at the bottom, St. Mary’s Cathedral, and Sydney’s inner harbour.
In the distance are the North (your left) and South (your right) Heads, or main entrances to the harbour.
Photo was taken around 930pm, St, Patrick’s Night, about two hours after sunset.
How’s dat Robert? ;)
