Nickname in high school?
Egan. Same as my brothers. My alpha sister remained Kathi, so formidable no surname or nickname was necessary
Sport you were into?
I was a gymnast, but we didn't have a team and there was no way Da would pay for (or drive me to) a "phag sport". Also ran track (sprints and pole vault), and I spent 2-3 hours a day in the ocean every summer. And some beach volleyball.
Had a circle of friends?
I hung around the brains mostly, but was an honourary stoner and kewl kid. I fomented a role as the bad boi brainiac in the honours programme. While I enjoyed corrupting Tomorrow's Leaders (getting them drunk at lunchtime), I didnt' consider any of these people friends. Ever.
Best subject?
Maths. I was even (gasp) president of the Math League.
Worst subject?
Chemistry and Physics--my work habits didn't allow for reading texts (let alone studying them), so I foundered through both. Showing up loaded for Physics in year 12 didn't help.
A teacher you owe life lessons to?
Dr. Dennis Dillon, year 10 honours English. He required us to get 90% or higher on weekly grammar quizzes, though we could retake them again and again. He insisted we read the Mahabarat, Gilgamesh, Odyssey, Aenid, Rape of the Lock, Ozymandias, the Old Testament, and a whole lot of other canonical texts. Really tough, but really fair--you could tell he'd been educated by Jesuits.

Freshman: Perplexed
Sophmore: suicidal
Junior: water-treading
Senior: cynical
Your best friend was?

Worst friend?
As in nemesis? The baby with one eyebrow?
Cafeteria food sucked?
Like tater tots and frozen pizza could ever suck. Bad for you? Perhaps, but mmmm. And as LunchLady Doris sez "More testicles means more protein."
Had to wear a uniform?
Does wearin the same The Who t-shirt and jeans constitute a uniform?
How was the prom?
I went as a junior with a quasi-friend and had fun. Platonic. I went as a senior with a nice girl who was puking in the loo most of the time. I was driving so I didn't drink. Overall, pretty boring, but my expectations were low.
Who were the prom king and queen?
No idea. A jock and a cheerleader
Any achievements?
National Honour Society President, Math League President, Regents Honours Diploma, Regents Scholarship, Mu Alpha Theta Math Society, admitted to University of Pennsylvania (declined).
Were you popular?
I got a lot of attention because of my older siblings, and so was on the B+ (rather than A) list. People thought I was really funny but kinda fucked up. In reality I was kinda funny but really fucked up.
