So we finally went to The Footy last night*. Footy can mean:

-Australian Rules Football (a derivative of Gaelic Football), aka “Footy”
-National Rugby League, or NRL, aka “Footy”
-Rugby Union, or Union, aka “Footy”

We were at Aussie Rules--the Sydney Swans versus the Brisbane Lions. It’s a fast-paced game, and since I was sujected to a season of playing Gaelic when I was 8 (”don’t throw it to me, I could get hurt!”), I picked up the rules pretty quickly.

querrelle, he was bored. We watched 2.5 (of 4) quarters, then went home for snacks, hawt hawt hawt sex, and snoozy cuddling. The crowd was quite good--I feared a drunken, testosterone-fueled morass of angst and fury. Not at all. Of course, we left early . . .

Wedding RSVPs are rolling in. Rings are ready. Work is very, very stressful for both of us, but we’ve got each other. And so much more.
