Date: 2004-08-15 06:52 pm (UTC)FrontPage isn't available on a Mac, so I've not used it. But it's probably like the old Adobe Pagemill: good for a basic page (or 2), clunky for anything else. I think if someone developed a site design app that was between these 2 extremes (pro or inept), they'd rake in the $$$.

* Your background image of the trees is distorted and saved as a .gif, it should be resized and saved as a .jpg to make it look it's finest.
* That border, some vertical line in the table at the top, in the middle, that has to go. (Ah, you can't see that on a mac!) Nevermind.
* I'd like a bit more margin around the body text. It's creating some tension that makes it "less easy" to glean through... This is minor, but hey - you asked.
Oh, the rest of it, it's all minor stuff. It really does look GREAT, and more importantly, it READS well. It is EASY to navigate. Kudos.
Anyways, back to the visual stuff. I pulled your site locally and fiddled with it in Dreamweaver for a few minutes. I tweaked a few things...
* Added a style sheet to keep font formatting in one place and "massaged" formats a little...
* fixed a few images (they weren't all 150pixels wide) and did other little things like remove the type from the bottom of the "shift" photo)
* Revisited your table structure, just cause it made it easier for me to adjust things.
* Created a new leaf photo, properly sized, that tiles (repeats without a seam)
