2. Tell me something about you that many don’t know. You can’t judge the importance of things I say by the tone--or even volume--when I speak. I can sound equally passionate about social justice and salad dressing.
3. What is your biggest fear? Death. Not the event, both what is on the other side (???) and what’s left behind on this one (all of this). I’ve already done broke, homeless, unemployable, institutionalized, friendless bla bla bla. Those things don’t scare me.
4. Do you normally go the safe route or take the short cut? Neither. Gotta take risks, can’t be foolhardy. Heart and mind, I encourage the dreams, as well as the planning. I used to be a class 1 under-achiever; now I probably bite off a wee more than I can chew.
5. Name one thing you want that you can’t buy with money. Dignity. From it all things come. Can’t buy it, but it can be learned. I’ve got some, thanks.
6. What is your most treasured possession? See #5. Otherwise my Canadian citizenship
7. What is the one thing you hate most about yourself that you do often? I bark, as in speak snarkily. I can’t hear it, so when I find out about it, the damage is already done.

querrelle. We did 5 days in Airlie Beach with our Canuck pals last winter. This trip is more trip than holiday--but I’m looking forward to it!
12. Are you the jealous type? Nope. Strangely my lack of jealousy has been an issue with some boyfriends . . .
13. What is the one person, place or thing you can’t say no to? I can say no whenever it’s necessary. No matter to whom.
14. What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you? I had broken both arms in a scooter accident, but managed to drive myself to emergency. A couple of days later, my boss asked me where I left my bike. When I told him, he and his son picked it up in their van, drove to my home, and parked it in my garage.
15. If you could do something crazy right now, what would it be? Go to the aiport, but a first class round-the-world ticket to: India, Paris, Amsterdam, Ireland, NY, Montréal, Québec City, Vancouver, San Francisco, the Cook Islands, and New Zealand. For 2.
16. When was the last time you cried? A couple of days ago. I’m easily moved. Don’t remember what about though . . .
17. When was the last time you felt so good that nothing else mattered? Today. I feel like that nearly every day.
18. Do you feel comfortable in public with no shirt on? Of course. I don’t get off on it, but if it will be more comfortable, yeah.
19. Name something embarassing you did while being drunk? That’s a whole bloody journal....got physically tossed out of a bar in Ft Lauderdale during Spring Break in ‘86, into a gravel driveway face first. I then staggered around another 6 or 7 hours, coming home at dawn with a sliced open face. Friends had to pull the gravel out, but I didn’t even remember it--or feel it.
