Phaneuf (seulement 16 ans) peut-être le futur du patinage féminine canadien: c’était la première fois une canadienne a gagnée le medaille d’or au Skate Canada depuis Josée Chouinard en 1990.
Pourtant Sandhu n’a rien fait unique; les autres patineurs ont tombés comme «toy soldiers», l’un après l’autre. Si Sandhu pourrait tenir 2 programmes «clean» il aurais gagner les jeux olympiques.
