6. Something interesting about you: can't think of a thing...
7. Favourite novel: "There Eyes Were Watching God," Zora Neale Hurston.
8. Favourite song: Gawd... hard one. lyrical music isn't my favorite. (shrug?)
10. Favourite album/LP/CD: "Nefertiti," Miles Davis Quintet w/ Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Tony Williams, & Ron Carter [was the current release when I saw them at Shelley's Mannhole (Shelley Mann was a jazz drummer that had a club in Hollywood, CA). Miles wasn't playing that well and for some reason ended up sitting on the edge of the stage right in front of me. He started letting the spit from his trumpet drip onto the floor right next to my foot. I wanted to ask him not to do it but, when I looked around and saw everybody in the club looking at him I couldn't get up the nerve. Wayne Shorter started playing "Nefertiti" and Miles went back up on stage. Thank you Wayne Shorter for writing a composition that Miles didn't start off.]
And you?
