Ma is a bit better today: less panicked, breathing a bit easier. But still distressed and anxious. She’s afraid of being put into a regular hospital bed (she’s in ICU), in case she loses her breath. Again. But she loves her new portable DVD player--hopefully that will keep her mind off things.
I’ve been jet lagged and numb all day: a different kind of feeling that the sharp pain of Wed-Friday. Certainly not better, but different.
Tomorrow I hope to have enough wits to get some work done between hospital visits. And I’ll stay behind when Da leaves: to date I’ve had no more than 10 minutes with Ma at any given time. Which means a maximum of 30 minutes a day. Today was only 20 minutes. Not good enough.
Maybe I should hire a car....
Continued thanks for kind thoughts and wishes....
