Canadia and Oz. Two countries I considered emigrating to. But Canadia has very few positions for foreign graduates and Oz got the Great Barrier Reef. If the indigenous people weren't treated like such shit it would be a no-brainer.
A queer medical sociologist? Interesting. I wanted to do some queer health research for my final year project but chickened out and went for the non confrontational "Smoking Ban Legislation" option

The Zappo Gilligan case is interesting. My friend married her American girlfriend in Montréal last month and a Cork councillor married his boyfriend in Vancouver a year ago so there are a lot of people who are watching the case with even more interest than us.
