Jul. 4th, 2005 07:49 pmSo what’s the best of the best? Or at least the most popular? And how about them there one-hit wonders? Let me know what you think?
And Happy Independence Day to the land of my birth, the United States of America. The People are not The State!!!
[Poll #525862]
Of course it’s subjective. Objectivity is a myth. Embrace inequity!!!!

Better Man - Robbie Williams
Better the devil you know - Kylie
Dancing in the dark - Bruce Springsteen
How come Barbara Streisand was listed in any Best Of list? Why couldn't we leave her out?
And Natalie Imbruglia is NOT a one-hit wonder ;)
Even though it is all subjective...

I'm an old skool Bruuuuuce fant, and while Dancing in the Dark was a huge hit, I think it's not typical of anything else he did.
Streisand can be annoying, but when she gets the right song it's so clear how brilliant a musician she is--her personality aside. Something I didn't get until "somewhere" came out.
Natalie was a 1 hit wonder--sadly. But there's time still!
