Te souviens-tu la dernière fois? For me it was the yesterday.

I decided in advance to work bankers hours. After a somnambulic stagger around the house, I popped into McDo for some hotcakes and was at the office for 10h. I had 3 things to do and another to do if I had more time to kill. I got the 3 things done, with about 20 minutes to spare. My colleague Jackie took me out for a nice lunch too. All in all, not a bad day, though I was there until 17h08; I had planned on leaving at 16h. Pas grand chose...

I got out unscathed and without any burned bridges. I resisted the urge to grab one fella by the collar and shriek “you’re an eejit, a fookin’ eejit, an’ only da other eejits don’t know it! Ya fookin’ eejit!” I didn’t hardly think it neither...well not too much.

I came home, enjoyed the affections of

querrelle, cooked us some grub (chicken schnitzels with lil’ yella squarsh and fresh asparagus), then letharged. Followed by some damned good man-on-man action. Contended snuggles and sound sleep all around.

Today I slept in (09h), had toast from

querrelle’s homemade bread, abluted, ate some peanuts, and am about to send invites to our going away fête. If you’re not invited it’s because we hate you.
