a nice trip; some bad news

Our travels to London, Andorra and Barcelona had a few downs, but many more ups. But late Sunday night I found out my beloved aunt Brenda had died. So we came back to Vancouver a day early (today) and I’m booked to NYC tomorrow afternoon.

Wake Wednesday, funeral Friday, back to Vancouver to start new job (a day late) Friday morning.

I'm so sorry to hear about Brenda's death. The piece you wrote about her a year or so ago was so memorable, you established an immediate fondness for her in this community. May she rest in peace.
