I voted for something different this time, just ’cause I didn’t want it to suffer the same fate as “Poupée de cire...” (not the best 60’s entry, IMO, but in the Top Five for sure).

Looks like Dana International’s winning this round so far! I think the audio samples helped—it’s obviously the “gayest” of the above. Considering the fact that it’s a Eurovision song, that’s saying a lot!

Well I changed my vote too, because I realized I'd never be able to show my face in Thomy's Pigalle Schlagerbar again if I didn't put up a fight for Eres Tu.

Listened to them all and my vote stays the same - Waterloo just makes me want to get up and dance and sing along

Oh and I want to file a complaint about irregularities in the polling: Johnny Logan was eliminated from competition in the last round.

Well wouldn't everyone. Best song or no, there's no denying "Hold Me Now" is the song in the lineup that I can't get out of my head.

But I'm telling Lys Assia your contest is rigged!

I voted for "Fly on the wings of Love" - only because it was my first favourite Eurovision song. (I'm pretty new to the world of Eurovision - since I'm only 17 and live in Australia but hopefully I'll gradually broaden my knowledge back to the earlier years) I have a lot of catching up to do!

haha

Sorry - how embarassing! I posted after the poll was closed. You know, I frantically searched on FAQ on how to delete a comment - but since I was unsuccessful at my attempt I will die of shame and humiliation. I blame my mistake on my youth... (as I always do) - hey blame me coz I'm Aussie too! (u know how uncultured us folk are)
