That means the Olsen Brothers are ex-contenders. I actually like Fly On the Wings of Love, though I was shocked when it won in 2000 (my choice: Estonia’s Once in LIfetime in all its schlagery goodness).

I don’t think anyone could have predicted “Fly On The Wings Of Love”’s victory (way too low-key for Eurovision, I thought). But I think we’re all a little indebted to the Brødrene Olsen for keeping Alsou, that repulsive (is there any other kind?) Britney wannabee, out of the winner’s circle.

Alsou's song was OK...good even, but gurl can't sing live for shite. But she was still better than the faux lezbeens of 2003.

While I wouldn't call it for best song, I like it a lot, I think Fly on the wings of love has a good chance of being the overall winner.

Anyway you could just post one of the disco remakes and re-include it in this weekends poll. I'm sure no-one will notice.

Marie N's performance was brilliantly polished, but still...a song?

I came to "Everybody" late in the game, but I lurve it now. "I guess this is party time!"

But then again I loathed "Take Me to Your Heaven" and can only tolerate in now. Even though Charlotte did sing very well.
