O Canada, terre de nos hawt babes
Nov. 24th, 2005 06:23 pmIt's Grey Cup weekend here in Vancouver. The Grey Cup is Canada's Super Bowl. Except 3 downs instead of 4. And 110m instead of 100yds. Or something like that. But the kewl bit? Two high profile women will participate in the Grey Cup parade:

vixen extraordinaire Pamela Anderson, and

Governor General Michäelle Jean
It may make me a bad phag, but I think Pamela is brilliant--you dont' amass the fortune she has strictly based on looks. And Jean, well I like her--even if she skates darned close to the edge of "vice regalness"...
I had an 08h00 meeting today, which meant getting up @ 06h30. After meeting I was in my office, catching up on admin and correspondence, then had a (good) meeting with a student, and got a first draft of a conference submission in the can. Another look tomorrow, one more Monday morning, then it's in the post.
So I'm on my fat arse, craning my head around boxes to watch CBC News. I tired, but pretty fucking happy. I've won the life lottery. Not rich, not even technically solvent. But I'm fed, sheltered, loved and respected. And I'm doing some stuff (some) that I think makes the world a wee bit better. How fucking privileged is that?
Oh. Called the family today for American Turkey Day. Everyone was chipper and cohesive and my niece "included Uncle Max" in her school family tree project. How fucking validating is that? You're stuck with us, baby...

Date: 2005-11-25 03:08 am (UTC)Pamela Anderson is a work of art. I'm not always sure if it is good art or bad art, or if that even matters, but I do believe it is art.

Date: 2005-11-25 06:11 am (UTC)hooray for hooters!
Date: 2005-11-25 02:27 pm (UTC)I absolutely love her.
She is a total show-off and completely unapologetic about it.
If I had hooters like hers I'd be showing them to as many people as would look.
