jawnbcApparently the Irish vote for Eurovision was by jury, after their televote (by telephone by viewers) screwed up. Russia, incredulous that any country would have given les faux lesbiennes nul points, sez it was rigged. Click here for the skinny.
Même-temps, the British apparently have their knickers in a knot because the UK gave Ireland 12 points, but Ireland gave the UK fook awl. Of course the British love to whinge about regional voting by Cyprus and Greece, the Balkans and Baltics--but gawd forbid Malta and Ireland don't prop up their tone-deaf Cry cry babies. Oh, and the UK gave Malta nul points as well....fookin' gobshite hypocrites...
And for anyone who missed the show and would like to see each of the performances, their still available on the Austrian host broadcaster's web site: cliquez là-bas.
Last night I introduced The Girls to t.a.t.u.--as per their request I've burned a sampler of their music for their listening pleasure. After showing their video for "All the Things She Said" they agreed that their shtick is less pornographic than many adverts.
And it's a great track--a classic pop cut, really.
