in 1984 a 14 year-old Céline Dion was chosen to welcome Pope John Paul II to Montréal. Like most her music back then it's cheesy Maman-Papa-et-Bon-Dieu schlager. But dayum that girl could sing.
How many of you would be cool singing in front of 30,000 and a TV audience of several million? At 14?
