After a loverly arvo at Bondi Beach (including body surfing--w00t!), we adjourned home for the special Aussie edition of happy hour. Then it was off to Narita for teppanyaki. There were 9 of us in the end, guys we know and love through various ways here in Oz. Almost everyone was chatty and outgoing: any entertainment we might have lacked was provided by the table of folks across from us. Our chef was awesome, our server an arsehole. But it didn't really put a damper on the evening at all.

Then we rocked up to bears night. And lasted less than an hour.

In the wee hours this morning, my darling querrelle came down with a nasty achy feverish thing. Poor love. Good thing this day isn't overloaded. He shall receive belly rubs.
