ANC; not an insurgency

Greetings from the lulu lounge at Anchorage Intl Airport. We missed our connection to Fairbanks due to a delay out of SEA; with 3 hours to kill we've splurged on one of those by-the-hour resting rooms. We got a double for $15/hour, including internet, cable, and a double-reclining chesterfield. We'll then grab a late supper before the last leg: ETA Fairbanks 01h00--02h00 Vancouver time, so fully 12 hours of travelling from our departure flight. Tabarnak!

It's all good; we're having an adventure. Tomorrow we'll be shuttled to Chena Hot Springs resort for 2 days of soaking and chilling and (je prie) aurora viewing.
